Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep
(NILMDTS), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to
assisting parents and families going through the difficult time when
they experience an early infant loss. NILMDTS connects families with
volunteer photographers and provides them with a reproducible CD of the
images of their baby at no cost to the family. For further information

Why
is this kind of organization important?
Rachel's Mother's story.
Many years before I was born, my Mom had a very difficult
pregnancy. She was ill almost the whole time. Unable to keep
food down, her body became very malnourished. The baby came
extremely early, in the sixth month. He did not
survive. Things were handled differently in those
days. My mother never even got to see the baby. She
was still in the hospital when the funeral was held. All she had were a
few poor snapshots of a tiny coffin. She never really got
over it. It was always a source of pain.
Today, thankfully, doctors and hospitals are more aware of grieving
parents needs. NILMDTS is also there helping these parents
through the grieving process by providing beautiful portraits that
capture the memory and love of their tiny child's short life.
How
the contest works:
Book your family portrait session with a participating photographer.
The photographer submits a portrait of each family for online voting.
Finalists will be determined by online votes. Each vote is $1, and all
proceeds from votes benefit Now
I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
The grand prize international winner will be determined from the 52
city finalists. Many exciting prizes will be awarded, and the grand
prize winner receives a new car. The winners will be selected from the
finalist gallery by photography and modeling industry experts.
